Seeing Spots

Ben has had an interesting second half of May. Two weeks ago he had his first fever and he and mommy spent two days at home together. He was diagnosed with a sinus infection and prescribed Amoxicillin.... less than a week later his mommy and daddy were seeing spots!

After another trip to the doctor, Ben's mommy and daddy were told he was allergic to Amoxicillin. Luckily they are no longer seeing spots!

A photographer who is a fellow member of our church did a "mini-shoot" of Benjamin before his dedication. Hopefully he won't mind me sharing some of them on Ben's blog! As usual, Ben loved being in front of a camera!

Mother's Day Weekend

This past weekend was Mother's day! Ben and his mommy had great fun celebrating. The weekend started with Mommy receiving flowers at work from Ben.


Later that day Mommy received a wonderful present from Ben that he had worked on at school.


(He made the handprints!) Later that night Ben's grandma and great-grandma Zella came to visit for the weekend because they wanted to see Ben get dedicated at church on Sunday.

Ben enjoyed the time he spent with them and they were amazed at how much he had grown! They were also impressed with his ability to appreciate good literature.

Daddy's Stupid Old Pickup Truck

Daddy loves his pickup truck. It's a 1989 Dodge Ram with 125,000+ miles on it. He thinks it's going to be Ben's first truck, but Mommy disagrees.
